Using Georgia O keefe and Ma Ke as muses to reflect on the trend of romanticising artisanal practices, and how an over-obsession with your practice can feel torturous. O Keefe once said “I’m not going to be like you other girls, I am going to sacrifice everything for my art”. This project explores the consequences of this way of
thinking, making clothes that are meant to live from ideas that are meant to die.
